Well the work goes on in the background quietly.

The new version of Canalplan aC uses an SQLite database which means that it is much easier for me to get at Nick’s data than it was before when we used to have to do data exports and imports, now all I need to do is grab his database and run some queries against it and load that data into my tables

The first obvious thing that this has allowed me to do is to integrate the “Aliases” into the Location selector.  So Worcester Bar can also be found as Gas Street Basin.

I’m also working on adding some more googlemap features which will allow you to put Google maps in for canals and sections of canals.
